TV show 'Friends' star James Michael Tyler passes away at 59!

Hollywood biggie James Michael Tyler, known for essaying the much-loved character 'Gunther' from well-known television sitcom 'Friends' has passed away. The actor, aged 59, died at his home in LA on Sunday, as reported media sources. Tyler had been fighting a long and hard battle with prostate cancer since 2018.

 

TV show ‘Friends’ actor was reportedly diagnosed with the disease during a routine check-up. The actor was given hormone therapy that worked for a year, but the cancer spread when the Coronavirus pandemic was on the rise. Michael is not only an actor, but a musician, and a cancer awareness advocate as well.
