Saiee Manjrekar opens up on informing Salman Khan about her project choices through phone calls!

The actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter, Saiee Manjrekar, talked about her first appearance with Salman Khan in the popular Dabangg 3 trilogy and how it affected her notoriety.

 

During a media chat, Saiee Manjrekar opened up about her experience working on Dabangg 3, admitting that Salman Khan's star power was largely responsible for the movie's success. Though she was appreciative of the attention it gave her, she humbly acknowledged that it was Salman's film that she got the honor to feature in, which was a priceless chance for a debutante such as herself.

 

Saiee went on to express her sincere appreciation for the Tiger 3 actor, saying that she always makes it a point to call him and let him know about the assignments she accepts out of respect and fairness. "I feel it would be unfair to not tell him. He has given me this opportunity and if I'm getting work, I will always be thankful to him", she told.

 

In retrospect, the actress called Salman and her father her "protective figures," emphasizing the value of having a support network, particularly when breaking into the film industry at a young age. She understood the difficult obstacles people navigating the sector alone would encounter in the absence of a safety net, and she expressed empathy for them.

 

Although Saiee's father, Mahesh Manjrekar, appreciates her independence in making decisions at work, she treasures their dinner table discussions where they discuss his work. She appreciates his viewpoint as a director since he provides insightful guidance. She does, however, also admit that he has given her some helpful critique after seeing her films, which she appreciates as a way to keep getting better.
